One of my favorite memories growing up was making Valentine crafts with my mom. Every year she would have different and fun ideas that were simple, but the time we spent together meant the world. She always made space for us to use our creativity and think out of the box. It seems it is harder these days to find the time to just take a break and spend some quality time together. This easy project is the perfect remedy for that!
I have been seeing these cute little wreaths in retailers this season and thought it would be the perfect DIY to share, as it is simple, and everyone can add their own flare!
What you’ll need:
A wreath base (feel free to try different shapes!)
Twine or Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun
Valentine Wreath Pattern
First, I printed out our Valentine Wreath Pattern, then I chose which size hearts I wanted to use. For my wreath, I used the medium and small hearts. I then cut them out and traced them on the felt with a sharpie. Once I had all of my hearts cut out, I laid them out on my wreath base how I wanted to glue them.
Next, I used my hot glue gun to glue on all of the hearts. Then, I tied a ribbon to the top of the wreath so it could hang. To finish off my wreath, I glued a little bow on the top. I love how it turned out and it looks so cute in my house!! Love is definitely in the air!
